We are new to town, bought a boat and had trouble getting it started and we called this place on a Saturday at like 1pm and he answered on the first ring (unlike 8 other places that wouldn't even answer and/or wouldn't assist us because of the type of engine that the boat has) 305 small block chevy- he not only helped us in like 2 seconds by explaining what our particular boat needed but he was polite and respectful! Spreading the word and WILL use them for any boat maintainace we will need in the future!! You have my business dave!! Thank your establishment for getting us going on a whim!! Much appreciated! I called Dave yesterday to schedule a appointment for some repairs and not knowing he was closed and Dave still answered the phone. Even though he was busy and backed up with work, I was blown away with the help he gave me. Dave talked with me for about 15 minutes helping me troubleshoot the problem that I have. This guy really knew what he was talking about. What blew me away even more was Dave told me to call him anytime if I had anymore questions. I will be going to Dave for all my boating needs and repairs for now on.

Dave has been servicing my boat and jet ski now for the past 3 years. He also services many of neighbors boats and jet skis here in Scotch Hall Preserve on the Albemarle Sound. He’s busy so best to get on his schedule early and on a continuous basis. Very knowledgeable, dependable and honest. Would highly recommend Dave.

Dave is fantastic! As transient boaters we needed help quickly before we continued our journey south. He stopped by the boat that day to make sure he could do it, and within the next two days it was fixed. With his huge amount of experience in the Coast Guard and owning his own shop, we felt so fortunate to have all that knowledge working on our boat.

Called Dave was on the back end of a repair that I needed help to finish. Came within 2 hours was right on time and worked and finished the repair for me. Was great reasonably priced and a good dude.
